Only the bank alerts you forward ever reach Tally — it never reads your mailbox.

1 Copy your Tally address

2 Paste it into Gmail

4 Forward only bank alerts

Tap the button — the bank list is pre-filled. Choose Create filter, tick Forward it to, pick your Tally address, and tap Create filter again.

Test it now: open any old bank alert in Gmail and forward it to your Tally address — it shows up in Transactions within a minute, and this page turns green.

Need a fresh address? — remember to update the Gmail filter afterwards.

Track spending per card. Set a target and your statement day — with statement day 12, a cycle runs from the 12th of one month to the 11th of the next, and every total recomputes the moment you change it. The monthly total covers the 1st to the end of the month.

Split settings

Split by % A straight percentage of every transaction. You pay %, they pay the rest. Split by %, capped at an amount They pay their % of the month, but never more than the cap. They pay %, capped at per month. Split by flat amount, capped They pay a flat amount each month — never more than the month's actual spend. They pay per month. No split You pay everything; nothing lands in the settlement.

Applies to everything already in the ledger and everything that enters it later.
